DRS + ERS. An added threat for wheel to wheel racing?

Hi all,

The combination of these two things has made speed differentials down the straights massive. Cars randomly lose power in the final parts of the straights, cars suddenly pick up massive speed gains on DRS activation, cars lifting and coasting race cars braking the old way (from full power to braking instantly).Am I the only one who thinks that for drivers it's much harder to predict and read the racing? We've gone from slowly picking up speed in a tow and closing in gradually to fight to see who brakes later to a situation where a thousand factors can have big influence on your straight line speed. I'm not surprised the amount of bad decision making from drivers has gone up because frankly nowadays it's not enough checking your mirrors 3 seconds before braking and then forget about the other guy because you can guess where he is. In these 3 seconds he can have a massive hp (or drag) advantage and get within attack range. It's much harder to judge when to move across with a driver coming with extra 30kmh. And drivers seem to keep getting more sgressive instead of making defensive moves earlier to compensate.

Any suggestions?
